Colorado Korean Chorus (CKC)

The Colorado Korean Chorus (CKC) is Colorado's long-standing Korean community choir and has been active since 2005. The CKC's mission is “To express and foster the awareness of our cultural and musical heritage in the community through concerts and other performances with our creative choral works."

The CKC is comprised of local Korean singers generally from the Denver metropolitan area and is under the direction of dedicated artistic director Dr. Taehyun Kim. The members bring diverse backgrounds from all walks of life and professions--from small business owners to artists to teachers to accountants--but are united by a deep passion for singing together and contributing to the choir's cultural and choral presence in the community.

The CKC performs seasonal/special concerts as well as collaboration concerts throughout the year. In 2015 the CKC celebrated its 10th anniversary with a special concert titled "Arirang" which led to a tremendous growth in the choir's accolades and recognition in the community. 

2025 marks CKC's 20th anniversary, and the choir continues to grow and expand its cultural and artistic impact in thee Denver metropolitan area.
