The Cincinnati Tennis Foundation's  Mission is to use sports based youth development to create Life Champions.

$25 Buys a player a racquet or paddle

$75 Sends a player to classes for a month

$150 Provides a student's educational materials for a math and literacy program

We are changing this by delivering tennis and pickleball all over Cincinnati, creating free youth programs, holding a year around wheelchair program, adaptive tennis, blind & visually impaired clinics and running schools leagues and instruction.

We teach character themes in all of our offerings and have a dedicated staff who specialize in youth instruction.

We strive to make tennis, pickleball, and education available to all players year round, removing all barriers to access.  We want to offer a positive, community hub to learn, grow, and thrive through the sport of tennis.  Our organization is committed to creating access to educational opportunities for under-resourced youth and supporting character building opportunities through sports based youth development programs.

With the cost to develop a player from 5 to 18 estimated at $385,000*, the scholarship program started awarding players with financial aid, and the Foundation was born. Through its many programs, the Cincinnati Tennis Foundation welcomes and develops players of all ages. 

Since 2015, we have offered opportunities to thousands of students and players across parks, schools, youth centers, and clubs across Cincinnati and its urban core.  Our programming includes tennis, education, and character building instruction.  We work hard to make tennis accessible for everyone. In addition, through our NJTL Performance Program we have helped kids receive over $5 million in athletic and academic scholarships at top universities.
