Chaparral Arts, Inc.

Chaparral Arts, Inc. is a non-profit organization aiming to promote artistic expression, enjoyment and growth.  

Its mission is to support the Performing Arts in Arizona by providing and supporting public performances, arts education and artistic collaboration within Arizona communities.

Programs operating under the financial umbrella of Chaparral Arts, Inc. include:

• Chaparral Chamber Music Workshop - Weekend long chamber music workshop for amateurs and professionals
• Chaparral Suzuki Academy - Arizona’s only Suzuki Academy.
• Arizona Philharmonic - Professional orchestra serving Central Arizona

Chaparral Arts has a long history of successful programs that have consistently run in the black. These include a nine-year run of the Chaparral MusicFest, seven New Music Arizona concert productions, dozens of workshops and camps for young and adult musicians, music education scholarships to over one hundred youth, two independently spun-off annual camps (Chaparral Suzuki Academy and Chamber Music Workshop), and two independent choral ensembles which started with Chaparral Arts as its fiscal umbrella (Prescott Camarata Singers and Prescott Chorale).

Chaparral Arts is the fiscal agent of Arizona Philharmonic.
