Carolina Scorpion Women's Tackle Football Team

The Carolina Scorpion are part of the American Women’s Football League (AWFL). We were formed in 2020. The Carolina Scorpion is a registered 501(c)(3) organization. We work with women and girls of all backgrounds from mental health, DV victims, LGBT members and military personnels.  Currently 100% of our operations are funded by the players personal funds, player led fundraiser, sponsorships and game day ticket sales will be available for our 3 home games per year. We are a 100% volunteer lead organization with all directors having full time jobs outside of this organization. Along with playing football, the Carolina Scorpion have provided community outreach, including holding women’s football camps and youth camps focused towards girls interested in learning about the great game of football.
