Camp Starlight 2025

Established in 1999, Camp Starlight provides a caring, safe, spiritual, and FUN camp experience for children. And in 2025, we are expanding our programs to serve even more kids. In addition to welcoming kids affected by HIV/AIDS, we’ll be opening our doors to LGBTQIA+ youth and children of LBGTQIA+ families. This summer we will create a brighter, more inclusive future for these incredible kids.

Camp activities include swimming, arts and crafts, music and theatre, nature hikes, archery, campfires, sleeping out under the stars, and so much more! Having fun and developing friendships continue to be the focus of Camp Starlight, while also creating a safe place to address stigma in the LGBTQIA+ and HIV/AIDS and the many ways in which it impacts children’s lives.

We are an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit that relies upon donations big and small from individuals and the community to operate. Children attend Camp Starlight at no cost to their families. Every dollar of your tax-deductible financial contribution goes directly to pay for programming that makes Camp Starlight an incredible, life-affirming experience for our campers.

Our goal this year is $40,000. We have an anonymous donor who will generously match up to $10,000. This is a great opportunity to make our dollars go further and help more super-star campers!

Camp Starlight has been creating lifelong memories for over two and a half decades now. We are in our 27th year and we couldn't be more excited. Now more than ever, our campers deserve a safe affirming space free from the outside world...at least for one glorious week in August!
