Situated on 1,140 acres of forests and fields in Winston County, with breathtaking canyons and waterfalls, camp has something for everyone.  The Rev. Mark Johnston, our Executive Director, describes camp as, "the way the world could be."  We offer vibrant Summer Camp programs for children and youth from 1st grade through 12th grade; an Environmental Center for elementary through high school students that provides hands-on learning experiences in our outdoor classroom;  and the Alabama Folk School where traditional craft and music skills are passed down to eager adult students.  Each program cultivates an appreciation for life-long learning and provides respite from our modern lifestyles.  Summer Camp and the Environmental Center change lives by instilling hope, cultivating respect, and requiring humility.  The Alabama Folk School inspires a new generation of craftspeople and musicians to celebrate our cultural heritage.  We hope you will join us soon and experience one of our wonderful, wonderful programs for yourself!
