Boys & Girls Club of the Gila Valley

The mission of the Boys & Girls Club of the Gila Valley is to provide a safe and nurturing environment to enable all young people of the Gila Valley, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.

I grew up here, the club was my home away from home growing up. I made many friends attending the club. A couple life long friends and I also had great mentors to keep me on a positive path and pushed me for greatness. As soon as I turned 16, I was offered a job as the teen room instructor. I worked my way up to lead staff followed by assistant Program Manager. I worked at the club for four and a half years. And I loved every minute of it. I hope I left a positive impact on the kids in my time as a staff. Every child should experience the club. It's a place where a kid can be a kid and no one is going to judge them but simply push them to achieve great things! I love the club. Glad to see the club is still up and running strong!-Jose Cordova
