At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit our mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.
Our vision is for all youth to achieve their full potential. We work with youth, 7 - 17 years old in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties. Every year, youth in our programs see better academic performance, achieve their goals, experience meaningful relationships, see a better outlook on life, avoid risky behavior — like skipping school, drugs or fighting, and so much more. In other words, these young people are on their way to BIG bright future
