Baldwin County Library Cooperative Inc

For the last 39 years, the Baldwin County Library Cooperative has brought library service to residents of retirement homes and assisted living facilities, children in day care centers and public and private schools, clients at the Association for Retarded Citizens and people who live far from city centers. 

 The Bookmobile travels 300 miles a week and covers the county from Cliff’s Landing to Orange Beach, and from Lillian to Fairhope.  In 2010, patrons visited the Bookmobile over 7,000 times.  Circulation last year was 18,165 and we currently visit 46 locations.  The Bookmobile holds over 3,000 items including books, audio books, and movies.  For many people, the Bookmobile is their connection to Baldwin County and the world.
