Bakersfield Memorial Hospital Foundation

A nonprofit organization

Passion and vision are two outstanding characteristics of the donors, volunteers and staff of the Bakersfield Memorial Hospital Foundation. Working in close collaboration with hospital leadership and clinical staff, the Foundation identifies areas of need at the hospital and diligently raises the funds to meet those needs. The programs and technology which the Foundation supports keep Bakersfield Memorial Hospital at the forefront of healthcare innovation and excellence in Kern County.

Generous support from donors is responsible for the Lauren Small Children’s Center, the Robert A. Grimm Children’s Pavilion for Emergency Care, the Bolthouse Family Pediatrics Department, the Helen Taylor Cobbs Children’s Healing Garden, the Monsignor Craig F. Harrison Interfaith Chapel, the Sarvanand Heart & Stroke Center and the S.A. Camp Companies Burn Unit at the Grossman Burn Center.

Healing and humankindness are at the heart of our mission. We are inspired by our patients’ stories of the dedicated and compassionate care they receive at our hospital. Patients and their families come to Memorial Hospital at profound times in their lives and for all of them we endeavor to provide the technology and programs which will safeguard their health.
