Our History & Mission:
Arkansas United (AU) is Arkansas's first and only immigrant organizing and advocacy coalition, with immigrant-centered services offered throughout the state. Since 2012, AU has been working to empower Arkansas immigrants to be Change Agents in building bridges with local, state and federal public officials and closing service gaps as community navigators in adult education, workforce development, health, and legal access so that all Arkansans can achieve a greater civic and economic potential.

Our Communities We Serve:
AU seeks to elevate immigrant voices from a base of over 25 counties and 800 members, who are predominantly first- and second- generation immigrants, unified in their identity as immigrant workers, prevailing largely from Mexico and Central American countries. We are also growing our programs and relationships with Arkansas's Asian and Pacific Island communities.

Our Goal:
AU envisions an Arkansas that is elevated to its full social, economic and civic potential through the development of inclusive and equitable communities where all multiethnic groups, newcomers and native-born Arkansans work together to enhance our collective quality of life.

How You Can Help:
We are seeking general mission support for immigrant advocacy, civic engagement, and closing service gaps to fulfill the potential of immigrant workers and their families. COVID impacted the immigrant communities of Arkansas at a much higher rate than the general population, and Arkansas United's increased outreach and services will help our communities rebuild from this incredibly difficult time.
