Air Artists Inc.

AIR Artists, Inc. is an artists-in-residence program designed to help revitalize small towns through promoting dynamic arts and crafts scenes. By developing unused properties and building environmentally friendly residences and studios, we create vibrant and creative communities in which artists live and work and visitors learn about the arts.

Our first location is Andalusia, Alabama, where we are celebrating the city’s textile history through the textile arts. The Cotton Street Gallery, a shop for the benefit of AIR Andalusia located at 104 North Cotton Street, features unique sustainably made wearable works by renowned textile artists, as well as a quilt gallery and a children's boutique.

Our second location, Georgiana, Alabama, will celebrate that city’s musical heritage. The boyhood home of Hank Williams, Sr., Georgiana is host to the Hank Williams Museum, the annual Hank Williams Festival, and the Hank Williams International Society and Fan Club. In support of AIR Georgiana, our music store, Georgiana Music, will sell instruments and accessories and offer workshops and music lessons.
