Academie Francophone De Las Vegas

MISSION

The goal of the Académie Francophone de Las Vegas (AFLV) is to enhance the knowledge and appreciation of French and Francophone culture, to increase the knowledge of the French language, and to encourage interactions between French, Francophones, and Francophiles of all nationalities through education and art programs.

STRUCTURE

The Académie Francophone de Las Vegas is an independently supported American, non-profit, non-political, non-discriminatory organization governed by a Board of Directors, which reports to its members.

 

Not only does the Las Vegas French Academy offers French classes for all ages, but the organization also organizes a range of educational, cultural and social activities. 

 

LEARNING CENTER

• A commitment to quality and an innovative approach
• Instructors: our instructors are native speakers certified in teaching French as a second language, using the latest proven methods, so that learning outcomes are positive and measurable.
• Courses: Widest variety of courses at all levels, interests and needs, for adults, toddlers, kids and teens. Preparation for French Proficiency Exams.

CULTURAL CENTER

The AFLV is the destination for Francophone culture in Las Vegas, sharing the beauty of Francophone literature, art and history and its contribution to the multicultural richness of this world of 220 million French speakers. The Academy organizes events such as the yearly music festival celebrated worldwide, monthly movie screenings, bi-monthly breakfast gatherings, pétanque games (a French bocce ball game), picnics, etc.

RESOURCE CENTER

The mission of the AFLV is to provide members and students with a dynamic collection of quality materials that are enlightening and accessible to everyone.

SOCIAL CENTER

We host and support social activities to facilitate mixers with our growing network of culturally diverse people. All our events promote interesting conversations and foster new friendship.

FRENCH LANGUAGE CLASSES

The AFLV is the first step into learning French and a different new place to further develop skills. At AFLV students are also part of a community of people who share goals and interests. The Academy offers the highest quality of French education and is dedicated to making each learning experience a positive one with full immersion classes for adults and children.

Certified, highly qualified instructors, native French speakers.

International scale: AFLV courses follow the CEF Global Scale (Common European Framework for the Learning of Foreign Languages).

Multi-faceted learning programs with themed workshops, cultural events, and a library.
