The ICHOM Standard Set for Cataracts is the result of hard work by a group of leading physicians, measurement experts and patients. It represents outcomes, such as visual acuity, that matter most to patients with cataracts. We urge all providers around the world to start measuring these outcomes to better understand how to improve the lives of the patients they serve.

The International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM) brought together patient representatives, clinical leaders, and registry leaders from all over the world to develop Standard Sets of outcomes and Standard Sets of risk factors. We are transforming health care by empowering clinicians worldwide to measure and compare their patients’ outcomes.

Donate to help improve the health of patients with cataracts all over the world.
