Nurture the next generation offurniture and interior designers by supporting furniture and interior design scholarship competitions.

The Bienenstock Furniture and Interior Design Competition is open to any junior, senior, or graduate student enrolled in an accredited college design program. This design competitionhas two categories: Interior Design and Furniture Design.
A $5,000 scholarship is awarded to the first place winner of each category. A $1,500.00 scholarship is awarded to the second place winner in each category. A check for $1,000.00 is presented to the first place winner’s design department for each category.
Winners visit the High Point furniture market to receive their awards and get practical mentoring from distinguished industry executives.
A blue ribbon panel of furniture, interior designers and manufacturers serve as judges.
The Library is looking for help to fund this program and add additional design competion categories in areas such as textiles, rugs, outdoor furniture and home furnishings accessory categories.
