RSVP- Retired & Senior Volunteer Program

Red has been a volunteer with RSVP for eight years, comitted to serving at St. Mary's Food Bank in Boise. In his time as a volunteer, Red has spent an average of 65 hours a month serving the clients of the food bank, ensuring hundreds of community members have access to emergency food resources in times of need. When the food bank needed to expand, Red was there, building shelves, organizing volunteers, and moving supplies to better serve the needs of food bank clients.

Red is just one of hundreds of RSVP volunteers, seniors comitted to making a difference in the lives of individuals across Southwest Idaho. Volunteers serve as drivers for Meals on Wheels, assist clients at food banks, and educate community members on food resources. Their service often includes driving long distances, and the cost of gas can be prohibitive.

Donations are needed to help provide mileage reimbrusement for the volunteers' service activities.
